Me too! Just finished a lap of Rt 1 with some (lots) of detours. What did you like best? My rented Suzuki was not prepared for this journey.

Didn’t stick to just the ring road. Drove all the east fjords and the west fjords as well as a couple of other peninsulas.

Yea I figured. Iceland is still on my bucket list. I’d oddly intrigued by it for no real reason at all.

Nice! Now that’s a proper off road car compared to the van I had. Westfjords especially Isafjordur was my favorite (got to see the northern lights there). Also the east fjords were nice and the south coast between Vik and Hofn was intriguing.
